Proper Use & Safety Guidelines for Ratchet Tie Down Straps
To ensure safe and reliable cargo securing performance, ratchet tie down straps should be operated and maintained according to the following guidelines:
1. Inspect Before Use
Always check the strap, ratchet mechanism, hooks, and hardware before operation. Do not use damaged or worn components.
2. Do Not Exceed Rated Capacity
Never exceed the specified lashing capacity (LC). Overloading may cause strap failure or unsafe cargo movement.
3. Do Not Knot the Webbing
Never tie knots in the strap, as knots can significantly reduce the strength of the polyester webbing.
4. Protect the Strap from Sharp Edges
