Can polyester composite strapping replace steel strapping?
es, absolutely. For most heavy-duty cargo, composite strapping offers equivalent system strength (up to 2400 daN) to steel strapping. Moreover, it is 85% lighter, rust-free, absorbs dynamic shocks better without snapping, and eliminates the risk of dangerous "whip-back" injuries during cutting.
Why are galvanized wire buckles recommended for composite strapping?
Our galvanized wire buckles are specifically designed with a high-friction geometric shape. When tensioned with composite strapping, the polymer coating grips the zinc-plated steel wire, preventing any slippage even under severe transit vibrations. (Plating type: Blue Zinc Plated for premium corrosion resistance).
